iDEAL is the most used online payment method in the Netherlands. Customers pay with iDEAL in webshops and bills are often paid by means of an iDEAL payment link. Thanks to iDEAL QR, customers can now also pay with iDEAL by smartphone. To be used in combination with the iDEAL QR App or most of the Dutch banking apps. This means that indentifiers and random readers are (almost) no longer needed. This way, consumers can easily pay with iDEAL anytime, anywhere, without making errors in the payment data.

Generate an iDEAL QR code
If you’re interested in using iDEAL QR, you need an active iDEAL contract. This can be provided by Buckaroo. At Buckaroo Plaza, a payment request can be converted to an iDEAL QR code. The QR codes are generated automatically. Customers can change the payment amount. In your contract you can indicate through which bank transactions may be conducted.
Scan and pay with iDEAL QR
By scanning an iDEAL QR code, a payment order is prepared in the customer’s mobile banking App. In order to complete the transaction, the customer gives approval by entering his or her mobile pin number. The iDEAL QR code can be identified by the pink shield emblem in the middle of the code.
