Wat is Trustly?
Trustly is a European online realtime payment method for bank transfers. Payments are made via thousends of participating banks in 11 European countries (Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Spain, Italy and Malta). With Trustly, you can effortlessly reach over millions of consumer bank accounts throughout much of Europe.
Pay with Trustly
With Trustly, your customers make a payment using their own trusted banking environment. The process is similar to Sofort’s. The Trustly payment process consists of three easy steps. During checkout, customers select Trustly as the preferred payment method, and select the appropriate bank. They subsequently select the account they want to make a payment with and finally authorise payment with the desired authentication method. The money is then transferred and the order is placed.
Easy to activate
The Trustly payment method is a standard feature in the Buckaroo Smart Checkout. In future, WeChat Pay will also be embedded in our ecommerce plugins. Should you want to implement it separately, we have an SDK to assist you in doing so.
Online and mobile payment
Thanks to Trustly, European consumers in 11 different countries can conveniently make a payment in your webshop. This applies to both online (PC) and mobile (telephone, tablet) payments. Moreover, paying with Trustly is safe for customers. Trustly Group AB is an approved Swedish payment institution under the supervision of the Swedish financial surveillance authority Finansinspektionen. Trustly does not save the customer’s bank data.
